More good news for you. Athens Provisions is happy to present another Merge Records artist, Richard Buckner, at 399 Meigs on December 4th. This intimate performance is the second in a series which aims to showcase the best and brightest currently pushing the limits of traditional American music.  The show will begin at 8:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased through the event page via PayPal or with cash at the door. This is not a cocktail party.   RICHARD BUCKNER: Richard Buckner was born in California, spent time in Canada and now resides in New York. His music has followed him the entire way. All the while, chasing the winds across the mid-western plains, picking up Texas dust and finding grace in the northeastern winter. You can hear America in his music.   2011 found Buckner releasing his latest critically acclaimed record, Our Blood. A long story explains the delay in its release with such antidotes as an unreleased film score, stolen laptops and headless corpses.
