Sponsored by the Association of Graduate Art Students.Florman serves as an Associate Professor at the Ohio State University. Her primary interests relate to modernism and the history of art history. In her first book, Myth and Metamorphosis, she examines Picasso's classicizing prints of the 1930s in the context of surrealism and contemporary ideas of classical antiquity.
