8:30 am - 12:00 pm Tate Student Center $12 day-of, $10 early registration, $8 early registration for groups of 6+ Contact: Heel the Soul Event Coordinator 404-323-9805  A 1-mile walk to raise awareness about domestic violence as well as to raise money for victims of domestic abuse. Hosted by Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.Participants are encouraged to complete the walk in high heels, which symbolize the painful shoes an abused victim walks in each day of her life. A forum will also take place after the one-mile walk, with presentations by speakers from Peace Place, as well as various performances. All proceeds will benefit Peace Place.The walk will begin at Tate Plaza, continue all the way to North Campus and Broad Street before turning back to end at Tate.  Heel the Soul 2013
