Azure is a spaniel/spitz mix that weighs right around 20 pound. Her striking blue eyes are the first thing that caught our attention – we can’t say we have ever seen eyes like hers before.

She is housebroken and crate trained making her transition to a new home easy!  She has been around people of all ages and while she is initially shy, she is very sweet and will usually ease on over to be petted.

She seems to like all dogs and is very submissive to them also, just like with people! We haven’t seen her around cats, but we expect the same reaction. She will play with a dog she is comfortable with, but for exercise, just a few short walks should be enough for her. But she is the type of dog that can go for long ones too if you want!

Azure takes just a little while to warm up to her new families. She has been in two foster homes with us and after just a few short days, she will be your shadow – she is very sweet and playful! Her favorite is a belly rub and will stay right beside you as long as you are willing to do it! She can certainly be independent and keep herself occupied, but if you are ready to give affection, she is ready to receive it!

Azure continues to come out of her shell and we love watching her become more comfortable and confident!
