Kip is a new addition to us but is settling in very nicely!

He was a little shy when first meeting the dogs that live in his foster home, but soon became best friends with one of them and now he loves to play chase! He is very respectful of the older dogs in the house and seems to have learned his place very quickly. Because he’s a little shy at first, he might not be the best dog to take to the dog park, but he would certainly be a great companion for other dogs at home.

Kip is also a little shy when meeting new people – once he gets to know you, then he is very attached!  And while Kip is a little guy, he doesn’t consider himself a lap dog. He likes to stay with you, where ever you are, but usually just near you or at your feet…not demanding part of your lap!

Kip likes to play and go for walks, but he isn’t overly energetic. He would make a good playmate for a dog his size, but if he is an only dog, then some short walks throughout the day will be good for him.

He likes toys and rides very well in a car. One thing he doesn’t like all that much is treats – can you believe that??? But that doesn’t stop him from joining in with his foster brothers and sisters when it’s time to do tricks for them!

When we first got Kip, it took him a little while for us to even see his tail wag…he was scared and didn’t know how he ended up at the pound. But now, his tail wags all the time – he’s a very happy little guy!
