Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes knew they were a perfect match for each other. They were engaged in 2005 just two months after first meeting one another. They've since married and have a daughter, Suri. AP
People magazine is reporting that the five-year marriage between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has come to an end. According to the magazine's website, Holmes' attorney said that the divorce is a private matter and that her primary concern is her daughter's best interest.
Cruise, 49, married Holmes, 33, in an Italian castle in November 2003. They have a daughter, Suri, who is 6.
This is Holmes first marriage, the third for Cruise. He was married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers. He has two adopted children with Kidman.
